About Me

Welcome to our 16,000 sq ft Indoor park and 35,000 sq ft Outdoor Park!

Join our Private Dog Park in Red Deer, Alberta.

Our mission is creating a safe, fun community where Humans and their Dogs collide within a controlled Indoor & Outdoor environment.

Sally’s Fun Centre was created out of sheer frustration as no venue like this existed. The need to actively & safely introduce one loving pet & owner to another wonderful pet & owner. The love of Sally is what inspired the creative conception of our version of a safe, fun, community space. Allowing Humans & Dogs a space to safely collide in a warm, caring, loving environment. This is where friendships of like minded Humans and like minded Dogs will create bonding like no other.

With the decision to forge ahead with this project so many wonderful pet owners have freely given their input, thoughts & encouragement. The ideas and concerns have been taken into consideration and our operation will be a huge reflection of all this information collected. We are excited to see what friendships and long lasting bonds may be developed here and stay the course of time.

Our Safety

There are so many loving, gentle, loyal dogs of all sizes and breeds that are just aching for a warm place in the Winter, and a cool place in the Summer. We hope to generate a great year round facility allowing Humans & Dogs to collide in our wonderful, bright, safe facility.

This big decision to create this fun, safe & pet loving community was born

from first hand information from others and ourselves having experienced

life threatening situations. There have been dogs trampled by Moose, either killing or maiming the pet. There has been instances of dogs annoying beavers and as a reward being rushed to the local pet emergency room, with huge bites out of their necks and legs. Coyotes and foxes stalking smaller pets from the trees area. Poisonous berries and leaves, of which 80% of us dog owners are aware of. Leaves of some shrubs able to block the airways of dogs causing pain, discomfort, and sometimes surgery. In the Spring and Fall see’s dogs falling through thin ice drowning or being swept under the ice. These are all very avoidable incidents. There are dogs at the dog park that are very aggressive and down right mean,

We will take every step to keep any dog out of our park that shows any hint of this, allowing all members to be comfortable and secure knowing we are doing our best to keep every one safe.

The Private Dog park located in Red Deer, Alberta has an indoor yard that is split into 2 sections allowing the pet owner to place dog with appropriate play mates. There will be Small/Medium and a Medium/Large as some medium sized dogs play better with one size versus the other. This gives the pet owner a choice as to proper placement. There will be a happy welcoming pet at check-in ensuring all dogs are friendly. They are then allowed entry to the play centre leashed area. There you will find a friendly, cheery atmosphere where you can pick up your snacks or fancy coffee among other choices. There will not only be treats for you, but for your fuzzy little buddy as well.

There will be many different, stimulating things to keep your pet busy and entertained. You may grab a seat, work off our free wifi, keeping in mind you will still need to watch your pet, as you are ultimately responsible for their actions. There will be roaming Pawlice checking in, helping breakup any unpleasant or bullying actions. You are also welcome in the play park itself to play with your dog. There will be no outside drinks or food permitted in our facility, but you are welcome to purchase anything with-in our park. No FOOD will be allowed in the off leash area, but drinks will be, as long as in plastic or aluminum container. NO GLASS!

There will be many different play centres in the park, being moved around overnight so every morning the dogs show up the park will be different. This will ensure they are busy from arrival to departure time.

The outdoor section at Sally’s is a large safe controlled environment. We have dedicated a large area, creatively designed for you and your dogs to have hours of uninhibited fun.

Our outside yard design features:

Pet friendly turf grass

Separated areas for small/medium and medium/large pets, this allows the owner to place their pet in the proper environment.

Cool shady areas for Humans and Pets

Doggie pools, and swimming area

Basketball nets for the Humans, no pets.

Pool table for the Humans, again no pets playing pool

Movable play centres for the Pets, no Humans

Bubble Blowing Machine, geez do we have to say it

In order to control all the excitement of pets and owners alike, Sally’s will have trained Pawlice persons to help maintain law and order in the park. We want to maintain a fun, playful & safe environment for everyone. Access to Sally’s outdoor park is available to all Humans, your pet is the one who is required to have a membership. Sally’s offers a Day, Monthly or Yearly membership option. The outside Deck is a covered Deck structure with access to the concession bar. This is where all the magic happens, conversations are struck with other like minded pet owners, and dogs saying their own kind of hello there. There will be a beer garden area with a selection of craft beers and wine.
